Welcome to the 44th Annual Public Transportation Conference – Virtual. As we move forward with resiliency during these challenging times we turn to one another to find the route to recovery even as we continue to respond to COVID-19.

This year’s conference, unfortunately, cannot be held in person. We know and understand the value of in-person interactions but your health and safety are WSTA’s top priority. Because of that, we are holding this year’s annual conference virtually.

This two half-day Virtual Conference respects the fact we all have “Zoom fatigue”. To address that we have built-in breaks and are focusing on the most vital sessions. We also understand the need to address the national conversation of racial justice and racism as well as how you as professionals will continue to work and operate in the current and post COVID-19 era.

We can’t bring it all this year but we are going to try. Registered attendees will have access to sessions, the first 200 registrations will get some sweet swag, and all will have opportunities to win $25-$50 gift card prizes as well as eligible to win our grand prize.

We want you to have a good time while learning. Let’s make this zoom call meaningful and engaging!

Wall of Fame Awards

From WSDOT Leadership:
Since we’re unable to gather in person for the annual statewide Public Transportation Conference and Wall of Fame banquet this year, we’ll be celebrating the 2020 Wall of Fame honorees a little differently this time around. Our plan is to produce short videos for each agency’s individual and team honorees, which will then be compiled onto a webpage for public viewing and sharing. Your agencies will have the opportunity to share the videos both internally with your staff and externally on your website or with your followers on social media.

Just like in years past, all honorees will receive a poster and certificate of appreciation. We will mail the posters and certificates to your offices for distribution once they’ve been produced.

We know the Wall of Fame is very important to you, and we hope the changes to this year’s edition will provide the recognition that your agency’s honorees deserve.

Cost: $75 per Registration

Registered attendees will be treated to two half-days of professional development, training, and industry trend managing and recovering from COVID-19.

Registered attendees will pick which breakout sessions from 12 they want to attend ahead of time and be treated to two General Session Keynote Speakers. Please see the program page for details on the program. We ask that if you want to change, you do so 48 hours in advance.

The first 200 registered before August 14th will be mailed a Swag Bag. Those registered August 15-19 will be emailed important information but will not receive a Swag Bag.
